Time Off

  • Holiday Observations - MBT observes the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
  • Paid Time Off - Employee are given a generous bank of time or paid time-off (PTO) and it is based on employment classification and length of MBT service.

 

MBT’s Retirement Savings Plan

MBT’s Retirement plan is a 401(k). The bank matches employee contributions dollar for dollar up to 3%, will match .5% on a 4% contribution and another .5% on a 5% contribution for a maximum of a 4% contribution.

Employees Now Linked In Service Together (ENLIST) is an employee driven volunteer program founded in 1984. MBT ENLIST volunteers support, assist and augment over 200 community agencies, nonprofits, schools and organizations every day of the year.

In addition to providing volunteer assistance, ENLIST annually chooses organizations to raise funds for. A variety of fundraising efforts have been used to reach our goal.

Monroe Bank & Trust encourages employee volunteerism through our ENLIST program. As an added incentive, full-time salaried employees can earn PTO time. For every 25 hours of time worked in ENLIST projects, full-time salaried employees earn one PTO day. The maximum number of PTO days earned for salaried employees is five per year.

MBT has a strong focus on Financial Literacy. As part of our financial literacy outreach efforts, MBT created the MBTeach Program. Our employee MBT Teachers receive 3 ENLIST hours for each class taught.
